That Went Permissions
Who can use what.
You filmed it. Here is exactly who is allowed to do anything with it, in the order that matters, with the awkward parts said out loud.

The short version
Three people, one order.
- You. It is yours. It stays yours. Nothing here changes that, and nothing here stops you doing whatever you want with your own footage anywhere else.
- That Went Viral. When you tap send to a business, you give us permission to use that footage too. Our permission outranks theirs.
- The business. They get permission to use it as well. Theirs is the one that can be switched off, by you or by us.
That order is the whole thing. A business can never stop us using something. We can stop a business using something. And you sit above both of us, with one exception, which is the next section and the only part of this page you really have to read.
The exception
Once it is out, it is out.
An awards reel, a show, an advert, anything that has actually gone out. We cannot reach into something already published and cut one person out of it, so we do not promise to.
Everything else comes out when you ask. Footage we have not used, footage sitting in a business library, footage in our storage, all of it goes and none of it comes back. The line is simple: released means released, and nothing else is.
What you kept to yourself
Private means private.
None of this touches anything you did not share. If you shot something and chose Keep them to myself, then no business sees it, we get no permission over it, and it appears in nothing. There is no exception to that one and no override on our side.
The permission above attaches at one moment and one moment only: the moment you tap send to a business. Nothing before it, nothing you held back.
Your name
Off unless you turn it on.
Your name goes on your clips only if you ticked the box and typed it yourself. Leave it off and anything made from your footage carries no name at all. We never guess one, and a business cannot add one.
How long
Nothing is kept forever.
We hold content for 90 days. Once somebody is paying, a year. After that it is deleted, and deleted means the file is gone from storage, not hidden.
Downloading your own is free, and anything close to the end of its window is always free to save however much of it there is. We will never charge you to rescue your own work from our own clock.
Changing your mind
One button, any time.
Remove my content deletes everything you have here the second you press it. Out of storage, out of our records, out of any business library it was sitting in. It cannot be undone by us or by anybody else, and the only thing it does not reach is something already released, for the reason above.
You can also take a single day back out of a business library without deleting anything, by unticking the share box on it.
